Solving stacks of chimney
problems since 1980

Chimneylink is a consultancy with more
than twenty five years’ first hand experience
in the on-site construction, repair and
maintenance of chimneys, flues, boilers,
stoves, fires and associated items. Since 1980,
we have installed or refurbished thousands of
traditional or prefabricated chimney and flue
systems. Projects undertaken have ranged
from large mansions and country estates,
through to industrial buildings and domestic
installations. Our customers include building
and quantity surveyors, architects, local
authorities, building contractors and many
associated professionals.

A consultation with us now, saves time
and money in the long run. Given the option,
it’s always best to be wise before the event.
For this reason, we offer our consultancy
service in advance of any works undertaken.
It’s a well-proven fact that the design
and planning of existing flues and the
construction of new ones is often delayed
and should be considered in the early
stages of any new build or refurbishment.
Investing some time earlier in the schedule
often saves serious time and money later.
That’s why Chimneylink’s advice is often
most valuable at the planning stage,
before the refurbishment of existing
structures and associated works even
begins. Chimneylink offers this advice on
a consultancy fee basis.

Consult Chimneylink to receive the
best advice on: • Sizing of flues in relation to fire size,

and combustion. • Information on cowls and terminals to
eliminate downdraughts and the entryof
rain and vermin, bird’s nests etc. • Design of chimneys and flues to comply
with current building regulations (section J) • Chimneylink CCTV survey of existing
chimney and flues.
